The township held its annual 5K Run for the Park on Sunday.

Limerick Township Parks and Recreation raised over $2,00 for Manderach Memorial Playground on Saturday at the 5K Run for the Park.

“The funds raised will help us continue to maintain and improve upon Manderach Memorial Playground which was built in loving memory of Lisa & Devon Manderach,” said Allyson Knight, program coordinator or Limerick Township.

Nearly 140 runners participated in the event, at Limerick Community Park, which was sponsored by Fred Beans of Limerick, ATA Royersford, Ron Black Agency and The Laskey Group, Centre for Healing Arts at Limerick, Costco and Wawa.
