Royersford's Weather Stations Go Online

The Office of Emergency Management announced the designation today.

Royersford's brand new weather monitoring station has been designated an official station, the borough's Office of Emergency Management announced on its Facebook page

The new station was installed two weeks ago on the roof of Borough Hall. It monitors current weather conditions 24 hours a day.

Now, with the station being designated an official National Weather Service reporting station, the information is available online via the site Weather Underground.

Visiting Weather Underground at wunderground.com and entering the station ID KPAROYER2 will take readers to a page that shows the current conditions. Visitors can also read archived reports and see graphs including temperature, wind gusts, barometric pressure, and other meteorological measurements.

The current conditions can also be viewed on the unit's WeatherLink page

What a waste of money....the Borough won't give a dime to the police department that it isn't contactually bound to, but we can get the temperature at Borough Hall. What a JOKE!
