Veterans to March on Valley Forge National Park Sunday
Several area groups are joining forces to rally and march in objection to the forced closure of the park due to the government shutdown.
At 2 p.m. on Sunday, hundreds of veterans are expected to march at Valley Forge National Park to object to the forced closure of the park due to the government shutdown.
This week, individuals have been fined for running and biking in the park, which is closed.
“This is civil disobedience in action,” according to Citizens for Liberty. “You do not have to stop at a man-made fictional barrier which tells you not to cross because of a political objective.”
