Kindness

A poem

KINDNESS

Kindness is warmth like the sun's rays

Kissing children backs on white summer days

It quenches thirst after a long day at play

Kindness is love when the autumn leaves are here

To nature you are at, you love to play here and there

You see the sun shining through the trees, here

Kindness is like the soft wind

When it finds you cold, it becomes your kin

A family of patchwork down, wrapped around your skin

Kindness is light snow weather

For children it is like a feather

They want to build snowmen forever

Kindness is the lamplight which shines in the dark

It's there when you're lost after late on a lark

It's halo glow brings you home, your path has been marked...

Kindness will always be their

For us all who need to share and to care
