An East Pikeland woman was fined $200 for a January incident involving a crossing guard at a Spring City intersection.
According to a citation filed by Spring City Officer James Wyatt, Amelda A. Corsi, 58, of Spring Hollow Road, was driving through an active school zone on the morning of January 18.
When she reached a crosswalk inside the school zone, Corsi allegedly directed unspecified obscene language at the crossing guard as the guard was escorting schoolchildren across the street.

Corsi was issued a summons and charged with harassment.
