The following is a user-recap of Spring-Ford SNAP's Dancing with the Stars event, which was held Jan. 21 at . of provided us with pictures and a short write-up:
What fun! I had the opportunity to dance this year with a community business group. Why are we raising money for kids to have a party? Because it keeps parents like myself from feeling that they need to host a post prom party in their home. The students go to a school sponsored event that is full of fun alternatives like food, dancing, movies, food, inflatables and food!
brings in about half that budget. And we have a great time doing it. The organizational skills of the people in charge is above and beyond. The event was sold out, again! The audience includes students cheering for their teachers, people without any children in the district, and the family members of the performers. There's a lot of spirit and I can't wait to do it again next year! If anyone asks you to participate, don't say no. It's a night of community and even the dress rehearsal is a night of cheering each other on.
Congratulations SNAP for a night well done!
