Royersford Community Day: The Full Scoop

Royersford Community Day in a nutshell.

The following is a press release from the Royersford Business Association about Royersford Community Day. LRSC Patch will have its own table and we hope to see you there. Come by and say hello!

On Sept. 10, from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., the Borough of Royersford and surrounding Spring-Ford community are coming together in celebration of all things local. This event, put on by the Royersford Business Association, is an open to ALL.

The community of Royersford has been the subject of much news lately from the attention directed toward Annamarie [Chestnut] (of ) in the Facebook contest to the recently completed rehabilitation of the infamous connecting Royersford to Spring City. Three downtown Royersford businesses were also winners on the most recent WPHL 17 Philly Hot List (Annamarie’s Place- 1st Place Best breakfast,  – 1st Place Best Soul Food, - top 5 for best chocolate).

Royersford’s revitalization, which has slowed due to the economy, is still moving forward. Improvements made to Main Street and beyond have instilled a renewed desire in the people to celebrate their commitment to the town, its local community members, and businesses.

People of all ages will find something to please at Community Day. It will be uplifting and inspiring to see how the local businesses and community members have banded together to pull of this amazing event!
