Sacred Heart Fair, Library Closure Coming Up This Week

Sundaes in the Park and a concert in Limerick are also on tap.

The Spring City Public Library closed Saturday and will re-open July 15 at its new temporary location at 2 Riverside Drive, but programs will remain intact for the week in the Park Pavilion by the Spring City Swimming Pool on Brown Street.

On Wednesday, the library will hold a movie night at 6:30 p.m. at its location on 245 Broad Street. 

Sacred Heart Church in Royersford will hold its annual Community Fair beginning Wednesday.  The event will include rides, games, food, raffles and nightly live entertainment and dancing.

In conjunction with the fair, the Sacred Heart is holding “Gigantic Parish Attic Treasure Sale” from Wednesday through Saturday, 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Church Parish gym, located at Walnut Street and Lewis Road in Royersford.

On Tuesday at 6 a.m., Annamarie’s Place on Main Street in Royersford will re-open after short vacation and cleaning period.

On Tuesday at 7:15 p.m., the Royersford Borough Council will meet at Borough Hall on Main Street.

On Wednesday, Limerick Township and Continental Bank will sponsor Sundaes in the Park at 7 p.m. at Limerick Community Park, including a performance by Magician Peter Pitchford.

The Montgomery County Concert Band will perform at Veterans Park in Limerick on Thursday at 6 p.m.  Guests are invited to bring a picnic dinner and enjoy it under the pavilion.
