until today, I felt like I took the closing of my local club in stride, especially since our members got less than 24 hours notice that the gym was closing, for good. I always thought Kim Chadwick was great and an operator, and their may be more to the whole story, but regardless of Kim, the corporation of LADY OF AMERICA shows bad business sense here and lack of concern for their CUSTOMERS!

Today I find out that the Lady of America insists that we pay forward the November dues, because they transferred our membership to a gym that is TWENTY MILES AWAY. That is FORTY miles roundtrip. Disgraceful. It is now my mission to blacken the name of the Lady of America corporation: and ladies remember, it is not the corporation, but the PEOPLE you work out with.

We have to give notice for cancelling our membership, but LOA doesn't give us notice that we have to quadruple the miles and time spent to getting to the gym? bad form LOA.

Then I google the corporation, and find there are other LADY OF AMERICA clubs, beyond the one they transferred us to...why were we not given any choice?

Lady of America the corporation sucks, and I will invest some time spreading that truth anywhere I can find a voice.

I joined Lady of America about a year ago and have really enjoyed the classes they offer. I just recently worked with one of their personal trainers, and she was so positive and inspiring, when I wanted to quit,, she was encouraging me to continue.

Where else would you find 50+ women on a Sunday morning at 9am? At LOA's body combat class! Lady of America is an awesome gym with the most amazing instructors. They offer so many classes that you have no excuse not to exercise and they make it fun, yes FUN!

I have been going to LOA for many years and have seen the gym grow in such positive ways. There is a huge variety of classes and personal training sessions that serves every level of fitness in such a non-judgemental atmosphere! Each class pushes you past what you thought your body was capable of doing. The results are more confident, strong, amazing women who have all become friends through helping to push eachother. Another positive to LOA is all the ways that this gym tries to "give back" through many different fundraisers- St. Jude's, Breast Cancer, local charities, to name a few. The instructors are Incredible! They are high energy, fun, wonderful ladies who have all become friends! LOA is my therapy!!

I have been a Member at LOA for years. I have been to several gyms in the past and have to say without hesitation, LOA is by far the BEST! The environment is positive, supportive and encouraging to help anyone at any level reach their fitness goals! They offer great group exercise classes, free weights, machines and cardio equipment and so much more...the is something for everyone. Not to mention education classes, health screenings and assessments, charity events and an awesome day care for the kids. They have an awesome personal training staff, sauna, tanning, and a cute boutique. No gym in the area can compete!

Working out is a lot easier when you love the gym you go to. I joined this summer and love Lady of America. I already recommended the gym to so many friends. The classes offer a great workout, and the facility has great equipment to work out alone as well.

Only you can change your fitness level, and Lady of America Royersford is the place to do it! If you like to work on your own, all the equipment you need is there, and the gym is open at all hours. If you want to take classes or have personal training, Lady of America offers that too! Showers and towel service make it easy to fit regular visits into a busy work and family schedule. All the ladies and instructors are friendly, which makes fitness a nice addition to your day. Some health coverage plans offer a rebate for visiting the gym a specified number of times each year, and LOA makes it easy to keep track. This is a fantastic health club, offering 50 fitness classes a week...cycling, kickboxing, zumba, step, yoga/pilates...all Les Mills classes are offered here as well! Classes, equipment, sauna and towel service are part of all memberships too! Extremely clean facility. Women supporting women! Feel good about yourself in a gym where you can be yourself! Invest in you!
