I'm brand new to the area (2 weeks) so I did not have a new family doctor yet. I was not feeling to bad during the day but by 5:00pm was really ill. My husband and I had seem the Urgent Care a few days earlier so I called and asked if they took our insurance and was told yes. Upon arriving was told they did not take BC personel choice and it was $150.00 to 200.00 to see the nurse prac. plus any test that needed to be taken as my insurance must likely would not pay for them as I was out of net work. Are you kidding !!! $200.00 + to see the nurse prac. for a virus. We left and went to CVS walk in center.

Urgent Care in Limerick took x-rays of my husband's foot after he dropped a sheet of plywood on it. The doctor there told us that his toe was broken in two places, and one of the breaks was rather complicated. We were told to go to an orthopedic surgeon asap. The next day, after seeing the x-ray, the orthopedic doctor told us there were no broken bones at all. In a few weeks his toe was back to normal without doing anything. Isn't reading an x-ray pretty basic stuff for any doctor? We won't be visiting Urgent Care clinic anymore.

Thank you Urgant Care, I was able to get in with no wait (That will not happen at your local ER) the staff was great they stitched me up and had me on my way.
If you need immediate care then Urgent Care should be at the top of your list. They even sent me and e-mail days later making sure I was doing ok :-)
