The Spring-Ford Area Historical Society is dedicated to promoting and preserving artifacts of local historical value. The society researches, acquires and preserves significant properties in the area. In 1988 the society acquired the old Royersford train station; it acquired the William Lewin Plantation House in 1999. The house has since been converted into the society's headquarters and a museum open to the public. If you're interested in joining the Spring-Ford Area Historical Society, information and forms are available on its website. The society also accepts tax-deductible donations.
