Ruth E. (Linderman) Kryder, 82, of Royersford, died on Monday, May 7, 2012 at her home after a brief illness. She was the widow of Richard A. Kryder, who passed away last December. She was born in Linfield to the late Marvin and Louise (Hartenstein) Linderman. She was a 1947 graduate of Royersford High School. Ruth was employed over the years in the office at Floyd and Wells, the bakery at the Pottstown Farmer’s Market and lastly as a layaway clerk at the Phoenixville Jamesway until retiring. Mrs. Kryder was a member of Augustus Lutheran Church, Trappe, PA. She also attended the local chapter of AARP and went on their bus trips, enjoyed line-dancing classes and attending monthly socials. Ruth was a loving and devoted grandmother. …

Virginia R. (Moore) Mallatratt, age 73, wife of Richard "Donald" Mallatratt, of Reading, PA, formerly of Limerick, PA died Saturday afternoon, April 28, 2012 in her home. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Raymond T. and Ruth V. (Bennett) Moore. Mrs. Mallatratt worked in the dispatch office for the Oehlert Brother's Heating and Cooling in Royersford for over 30 years before retiring in 2003. She was a very active member of the Church of the Epiphany Episcopal Church in Royersford for many years. She was a member of the Altar Guild and was a Sunday school teacher at the Church. Grace L. (Bealer) Wampler, 98, widow of Francis M. Wampler Sr., of North Coventry, passed away on Monday evening, April 16, 2012, in the Coventry Manor. Born in North Coventry, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Ethel (Leary) Bealer. Mrs. Wampler was a 1932 graduate of the former North Coventry High School and had attended her most recent class reunion at Reading County Club. Grace was a camp counselor at Camp Swatara for two years and also served as its director for one year. She volunteered with the PTA at the former Kenilworth School when her children were young and also with the Brownies and Girl Scouts. Francis J. “Frank” Cutter, 79, of Limerick, PA passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at his home. He was the husband of Ann L. (Conway) Cutter. Frank was born in Philadelphia to the late Patrick and Anna Cecelia (Reilly) Cutter. After graduating from North Catholic and serving in the Army, he was employed as the manager of the Reprographics Dept. at the Philadelphia Inquirer for 25 yrs. EISENHAUER David D. "Ike" Eisenhauer, age 66, of Royersford, PA died suddenly of natural causes on April 7, 2012 at home. Born in Royersford, he was a son of Ruth Cottrell of Royersford, and the late Elvin E. Eisenhauer. Mr. Eisenhauer was a graduate of Spring-Ford High School. He worked for many years for the American Baptist Churches in King of Prussia, retiring in January of 2012. He was a member of the Humane Fire Company for many years. He served as Fire Chief from 1981-82, 1989-93. He was also a member of the Friendship Fire Company in Royersford. He worked as a bartender at Tom's Bar in Royersford for many years. OTIS Joan M. (Wilke) Otis, age 81, wife of Orville M. Otis, of Royersford, PA died suddenly Saturday evening, March 24, 2012 in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Royersford, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Frances (McCarty) Wilke. She was a graduate of the Royersford High School. Mrs. Otis worked 16 years at the Valley Forge Army Hospital, and more recently worked for over 15 years at the West Reading Hospital as a medical record analyst. Edward J. “Brownie” Brown, 98, of Spring City, PA, formerly West Conshohocken, passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Seasons Hospice of Phoenixville. He was the widower of Helen (Masler) Brown. Born in Buffalo, NY, he was a son of the late Ferdinand and Katherine Brown. During the war effort, he worked in security for the Budd Company, which made precision air regulators for the Bombardiers. He was also employed as a machinist at the former Sesco in Bridgeport.
