Sudden Thunderstorms Cause Crash on 422

Tuesday night's spurt of thunderstorms in the Limerick and Royersford area caused two vehicles to collide into the guardrail on 422 east.

Two vehicles were forced into a collision into the guardrail on 422 eastbound at 8:20pm on Tuesday night in light of heavy thunderstorms in the area. No injuries were reported. Pennsylvania State Police responded to the scene right before the off ramp to the Royersford exit. The area was hit with a small storm that caused heavy downpours for travelers on the road, reducing visibility and creating poor travel conditions. Minimal traffic was reported.
