Morning Crash Closed Route 422 for Two Hours
Two hurt in the crash were taken to Paoli Hospital.
Two people were injured after their black sedan struck a parked PennDOT truck on Route 422 this morning. A press release from the Pennyslvania State Police identified the driver and passenger as Diane and Vincent DeCarlo of Douglassville. The DeCarlos had to be extricated from the car by rescue teams. Both were transported to Paoli Hospital in serious but stable condition. The PennDOT truck was parked on the side of the road. Its driver, John DeMichael, Jr. of Barto, was uninjured. Police say the reason for the crash is unknown. The driver told police she "lost control of the car", according to the report. Update 12:25pm Route 422 was reopened just before 12:15pm.
