Eagleville Man Arrested for DUI, Police Say

Jordan Burnham, 23, of Eagleville, was arrested for DUI by the Pennsylvania State Police on May 8.

The following item contains information provided by the Pennsylvania State Police. Arrests, where they are mentioned, do not indicate conviction. DUI: On May 8 at 2:20 a.m., members of the Pennsylvania State Police initiated a traffic stop of a gold, 2009 Toyota Corolla at the intersection of Lewis Road and Crown Point Drive in Limerick. The report indicated that the driver of the vehicle – identified as Jordan Burnham, 23, of Eagleville – showed signs of being under the influence of alcohol. Burnham was arrested for DUI, and transported to the PSP Skippack Barracks for chemical breath testing. Charges are pending in District Court 38-1-19. Pot Pipe, Not Peeping, Leads to Man's Arrest, Police Say

A search for a 'peeping Tom' led police to an alleged marijuana smoker.

Limerick Township police officers searching for a possible "peeping Tom" instead found a man who allegedly had been smoking marijuana in the woods behind the Chester View Condominiums.  A resident on Horseshoe Drive reported seeing a man in the woods "fumbling with something in his pocket." Police responded to the location and found George Ferrara, 67, near the location.  When asked what he was doing in the area, Ferrara told police he does a three-mile walk every morning along the Brooke Elementary walking track and he "goes into the woods to light and smoke my pot," according to police. Spring City Woman, Others Caught in Prostitution Ring, Police Say

Prostitution sting at Allentown strip club nets 11 arrests, including one Spring City resident.

A 29-year-old Spring City woman is among 11 women arrested in a prostitution sting at an Allentown strip club, according to a press release issued Thursday by the state Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement. Michelle Marie Andrews, 29, of the 400 block of Main St., Spring City is charged with misdemeanor criminal solicitation. An Emmaus woman, Alisha M. Litzenberger, was allegedly arranging for undercover officers to meet with 10 other women in a private room of Platinum Plus, 1251 Airport Road, where they brokered sex acts, including oral sex, in exchange for money, according to police. The room, known as the “Champagne Room,” is a separate room in the Lehigh County strip club available for dancers and club patrons to meet privately for …

Limerick Woman Faces Drug Charges After Traffic Stop, Police Say

Police reported finding drugs and needles in the woman's car.

A Limerick resident is facing charges after an April 10 traffic stop in Collegeville where, police say, she was found in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.  Deborah Jean Rich, 54, was pulled over by a state trooper near Main Street and 8th Avenue in Collegeville Borough, according to a report released by the Pennsylvania State Police.  Police say Rich was uncooperative during the traffic stop and refused to obey numerous directives given to her by the trooper.  Police say Rich was driving on a suspended license. According to the report, a search of the vehicle turned up prescription medications, hypodermic needles and other drug paraphernalia. Police Seek Credit Card Fraud Suspect

The suspect has used cloned credit cards to purchase gift cards at various Walgreens locations in Bucks, Delaware, Philadelphia and Montgomery counties

Towamencin Township Police are working on a joint investigation with the Pennsylvania State Police to identify a man authorities say is responsible for credit card fraud and other theft-related offenses in four Pennsylvania counties. Police said the man used cloned credit cards to purchase gift cards during the second week in January 2013. The man used the cloned cards at Walgreens stores in Flourtown, Drexel Hill and the Feasterville-Trevose area, police said. Police said the suspect also used a cloned credit card with the Philadelphia Parking Authority on M Street in Philadelphia on Jan. 10, 2013. Rofo Man Arrested for Alleged Child Assault

A Royersford man was arraigned on Tuesday for allegations of an assault on a 3-year-old

Earl Schlichter, 54 of the 300 block of Main Street in Royersford was arrested on Tuesday for simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, endangering the welfare of a child, and harassment by physical contact, according to Royersford police. Schlichter was taken into custody on Tuesday and arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge Walter Gadzicki Jr. Schlichter allegedly assualted a 3-year-old child that is his girlfriend's grandson, according to the police report released by the Royersford Police Department.
