UPDATE: Upper Providence Man Arrested for Alleged Child Rape
The man, who shared a bedroom with the 12-year-old boy, claims that the acts were consensual.
Update: Raheem Smith-Little, of Upper Providence, has been charged with rape of a child and related offenses after allegedly assaulting a 12-year-old boy in a bedroom that the two shared, according to the Pottstown Mercury. According to police, the child's mother attempted to enter his bedroom Jan. 13 around 2 a.m. to find that the door was locked, breaking a rule in the house that no doors are to be locked in the house. Smith-Little, 20, allegedly opened the door and said that he didn't lock it; shortly thereafter, the boy went to his mother's room "shaking and crying," saying that he was assaulted, according to police.
