New Hand & Stone Massage Spa Opens in Royersford

A Gilbertsville resident brings affordable massage and facial services to the area.

Gilbertsville's Denise Vizzini has just opened a Hand and Stone Massage & Facial Spa in Royersford, in the Shops at Upper Providence, and she is excited about the opportunity.  "It's a lifelong dream," Vizzini told Patch the week before the spa opened.  Hand and Stone is a massage and facial services franchise that focuses on making those services affordable for everyone.  Vizzini and her husband Jim know they face competition from many day spas in the area.  Vizzini says that Hand and Stone is different because it makes beneficial services accessible to a large audience.  Vizzini has been a massage therapist for fifteen years, and recently relocated from New Jersey to open the Hand and Stone location.  Her focus on massage therapy started…

New Subway at Limerick Square Opening October 18th

Subway moves back in to Limerick Square this week

This press release was sent in by Longview LP. The new Subway opening October 18th will feature new menu items including chopped salads, and the store is completely renovated with new layout, extra seating, HDTV and Wifi. High Voltage Gym Offers Something Different

This small family-owned gym is not your typical workout place.

Walk in to High Voltage Gym in Linfield and you'll notice right away this is not like other larger gyms in the area.  There is a small group of machines in the next room, and a very large mixed martial arts ring in another room.  However, owner Terri Arthur says that what makes High Voltage different is its family-oriented style.  "I like to remember names and goals," Arthur said. "That way, someone walks in I greet them by name and ask, 'how's your work [toward a goal] going?'"  "It gives it a personal touch, you're not a number here," Arthur said.
