John Scioli holds fundraiser at Schwenksville shop
John's Old School New Skool Barber Shop was the site today of a fundraiser to benefit a local family. Normally, Scioli's shop is closed on Sundays, but he opened today specifically to raise money for the family of local teenager Brian Clarke, who passed last week after suffering injuries in an accident. Scioli charged $20 for haircuts and was holding a raffle. Raffle prizes included a Kona Ice party courtesy of owner Pat Hoffman, gift certificates from several local businesses, and one of Scioli's prized Elvis busts. Hoffman was parked in Scioli's parking lot giving out samples. He also donated his proceeds to the Brian Clarke Memorial Fund. Scioli told Patch at the end of the day that he raised $553.
