Limerick Fire Co Holding 13th Annual Golf Outing

The annual event benefits the volunteer organization

The following release was submitted by Joe Greenwald of Greenwald Communications Associates: Limerick, PA (May 29, 2012) – Limerick Fire Company will host its 13th Annual Golf Outing on Wednesday, June 6th. The Outing will take place at Turtle Creek Golf Course in Limerick, PA. There are two different Shotgun Tee-times that players can choose from – 8am or 1:30pm. The cost for the Outing is $90 per person and includes greens fee, cart, breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is also a “Hole in One” prize for a 3-day, 2-night trip for two in Myrtle Beach, SC (transportation not included). Individuals or groups are invited. SFYAL Softball Inaugural Golf Outing June 9

Proceeds will go back into the league for equipment and field maintenance.

The Spring-Ford Youth Athletic League's softball conference will be holding a golf outing fundraiser on June 9 at Limerick Golf Course. The participation fee is $80 per person and will include a breakfast before the 8 a.m. shotgun start, as well as a lunch after the tournament is over. Awards will also be handed out after the tournament. All proceeds go to Spring-Ford Youth Athletic League. Money raised will be used for field maintenance, uniforms, and other costs associated with the Youth Sports Program. The format of the outing is a scramble, where each player tees off, the best shot is taken and each player then hits from that spot and so on and so forth. Local Business Gives Back To The Community

Keller Williams Realty, based in Limerick, has three core beliefs in its business practice: God, Family and Business.

Keller Williams Real Estate made a direct impact on the community of Limerick back in June when it collected donations of food and money in the amount of $6,650 for "Operation Backpack." It also conducted a blood drive the same day with a turnout of over 30 participants for the "Miller-Keystone Blood-Bank." This was the first year the business held the event supporting children of needy families by collecting food and money donations to help keep children fed over the weekend. Qualified children in the program are given a backpack on weekends when they leave local schools filled with food to keep them fed until they return to school the following Monday.
