Granola bars are healthy, right? With their oats and their nuts and their whole grains, how can you go wrong? Believe it or not, some contain a lot of sodium and unnecessary sweeteners. And they come with a hefty price tag! $3.49 for six bars? You know where I'm going with this. Control the nutritional value and keep the cost down by making your own granola bars. It's so much easier than you're probably imagining, it's way cheaper than buying storebought granola bars, and I bet you already have most of the ingredients in your pantry. And making your own granola lets you totally customize your snack experience. Don't like raisins? Leave them out. Are you a nut for nuts?
