Visit Pottstown Patch for the full story.] A West Pottgrove man was found injured along the side of Sanatoga Station Road in Lower Pottsgrove on Sunday afternoon and later pronounced dead at the scene, following a home invasion at his home on Manatawny Street. Kareem Ali Borowy, 19, was abducted at gunpoint around 2 p.m. on Sunday. Reports say multiple armed people approached the teen, demanded money, and then forced him into a car and drove away. Pottstown Patch has learned that Borowy was arrested and charged on March 9 with several drug-related charges after police said they saw him involved in a drug deal in the mall's parking garage. Police in Bucks, Montgomery, and Lehigh counties were searching Friday afternoon for two suspects wanted in connection with a fatal home invasion just off Route 309 in Hilltown Township, Bucks County. One subject was described as a Hispanic male, about 5 feet, 9 inches tall, "broad shouldered" and "muscular." The second was described as a smaller, Asian male wearing a black jacket and cargo pants. Both were wearing masks at the time of the incident. The men are believed to be in a black 2007 Lincoln pickup truck belonging to one of the victims of the incident. The incident took place at about 10:30 a.m. Friday morning.

Sadly I'm guessing this is not a "random" crime and most likely drug related. Such a sin to see a 19 year kid killed like this. more ›
