Barbershop Benefit Raises Funds For Clarkes

John Scioli holds fundraiser at Schwenksville shop

John's Old School New Skool Barber Shop was the site today of a fundraiser to benefit a local family.  Normally, Scioli's shop is closed on Sundays, but he opened today specifically to raise money for the family of local teenager Brian Clarke, who passed  last week after suffering injuries in an accident.  Scioli charged $20 for haircuts and was holding a raffle. Raffle prizes included a Kona Ice party courtesy of owner Pat Hoffman, gift certificates from several local businesses, and one of Scioli's prized Elvis busts. Hoffman was parked in Scioli's parking lot giving out samples. He also donated his proceeds to the Brian Clarke Memorial Fund.  Scioli told Patch at the end of the day that he raised $553.

John Scioli, owner of John's Old School New Skool Barber Shop, will host a benefit on Sunday with proceeds going to the family of Brian Clarke, who died from injuries sustained after he was struck by a vehicle while riding his bike on July 11.

As the community continues to mourn the untimely passing of 16-year-old Brian Clarke, a local business owner has generously decided to help the victim's family in their time of need. John Scioli, owner of John's Old School New Skool Barber Shop, will host a benefit at his shop on Sunday, July 29, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with all proceeds going to the family of Brian Clarke, who succumbed to his injuries on Monday after being struck by a vehicle while riding his bike on July 11. "I decided to host this benefit because it is a tragic thing when such a young man loses his life," said Scioli. "Parents are not supposed to bury their children. It is a tragedy that struck home, being a parent myself. I am doing this to add a little financial …

Kelly's Worldclass Celebrates 1 Year Friday - Promotional Giveaways

LRSC Patch Editor Kevin Haslam and his team of Patchers will be on hand in the morning to hand out free Reading Phillies tickets. Don't miss it!

The following invitation/release was sent in by Christi Kelly of Kelly's Worldclass Automotive: One year in business has gone quickly - but we are flourishing in the Limerick area with a solid customer base and new customers each day. Pat's honesty, knowledge, and integrity in this field has paid off. Recently, we started automotive detailing and that is just one of the new components to our future success. We plan to expand our services/staff in the future and would love to find a local business interested in sharing our large side lot to promote used car sales (which is the current zoning with Limerick Township). On Friday, June 15, Kevin Haslam and the Limerick Patch team, as well as representatives from Kona Ice Of Schwenksville, will …
