The township building will host three days of activities for K-6th grade kids while schools are closed for Fall Break.
The Limerick Parks and Recreation Committee will hold Fall Break Camp from Monday November 19 through Wednesday November 21. Spring-Ford schools will be closed from Nov. 19 through Nov. 23 for fall and thanksgiving breaks. The three days will run from 8:00am to 5:00pm and will be filled with activities, games and crafts. Kids are asked to bring lunch, a snack and water each day. The cost is $30/day or $80 for all three days. Please contact Limerick Township Parks and Recreation to sign up at 610-495-6432.

Limerick Community Day will be held again this year on Saturday, September 22 from 11:00am-3:00pm at Limerick Community Park. Join us for this award-winning event. Vendors and visitors attend Earth Day event and Farmers' Market
Although there was rainy weather, quite a few people still came out to Limerick Community Park on Sunday for the annual Earth Day celebration and Farmers' Market. Program coordinator Allyson Knight said that most of the vendors made it out to the park. Several food-related businesses were represented, as well as other local businesses and a local Girl Scout troop. The Girl Scouts were showing off their recycled t-shirt tote bags. "You cut the sleeves off, sew the bottom, and you have a tote bag," one Scout explained.

Limerick Parks and Recreation hosts annual egg hunt
Despite a lightly misting rain and plenty of wet grass and mud, egg hunters of all sizes turned out for Saturday's annual Kids and Paws Easter Egg Hunt at Limerick Community Park. Even the four-legged family members got in on the fun, grabbing eggs filled with dog treats in a special area set up just for them.
