Police Make Arrest in Public Masturbation Investigation

Piyush Kumar Agarwal, 29, of Audubon, is facing numerous charges in connection with seven incidents of indecency dating back to April 6.

Lower Providence and Upper Providence police departments have announced the arrest of 29-year-old Piyush Kumar Agarwal, of Audubon, in connection with a string of indecent exposure incidents dating back to April 6. An Upper Providence detective reportedly encountered Agarwal at 3:40 p.m. on Saturday at the trailhead of the Perkiomen Trail, near the intersection of Lower Indian Head Road and Upper Indian Head Road. Agarwal was standing outside of his vehicle, with the top button of his pants unbuttoned, according to the report. The report indicates that both Agarwal and his vehicle matched the descriptions given to police by prior victims. Police then approached Agarwal and placed him in custody, the report states. Ciabattoni Jailed 3-6 Years for Burglaries

A follow-up to the case of area burglaries in Upper Providence, Lower Providence and Limerick one year ago.

Joseph Nazzarene Ciabattoni, 26, of the 100 block of Evansburg Road, was sentenced in Montgomery County Court to three-to-six years in a state correctional facility after he pleaded guilty to multiple felony counts of burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary in connection with daytime break-ins that occurred between April and July 2011. Man Pleads Guilty to Area Burglaries

Burglaries occurred in Limerick, Lower Providence and Upper Providence from April until July of 2011.

BREAKING: County Burglars Arrested Today

A man and woman were arrested today in relation to burglaries in several municipalities around Montgomery County.

Lower Providence, Upper Providence and Limerick police departments have been working together to catch and arrest those responsible for area burglaries over the span of April 2011. Today, they were able to arrest Joseph N. Ciabottoni, 25, of Main Street in Royersford and Alora A. Rooney, 26, of Walnut Street in Royersford. The two were arrested on multiple counts of burglary, criminal trespass, theft, criminal conspiracy and "related charges stemming from a three-month investigation involving the aforementioned police departments." The information came in a release around 11 a.m. According to the release, Ciabottoni was charged with 14 counts of burglary and related offenses, while Rooney was charged with 12.
