This year's speaker is Montgomery County Chief Public Defender Keir Bradford-Grey.
The Montgomery County Black Law Enforcement Officers Association (MCBLEOA) is holding its 23rd annual banquet at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23 at the Westover Country Club, 401 Schuylkill Ave. in Jeffersonville. Tickets are $50 per person. The MCBLEOA, aimed at promoting "a positive image of minorities in law enforcement and [serving] as role models for young minorities candidates who are seeking a career in law enforcement," according to its website, holds the annual event to honor one of its members. Wow, these comments are amazing...people almost ALWAYS find a way to criticize black people in positions of authority...but when white police officers hold "fund raisers" for family members of loved ones that may have been killed, they are usually serving alcohol at those events...so "Pat", I guess that's ok huh? we ALL know this IS still about race...don't be silly!   more ›
