'Those Wildwood Days' Will Still Be Free

Wildwood's beaches will stay cost-free this summer.

The chill of a code blue in mid-February makes many yearn for the hot days of summer. As residents from Montgomery County start to make Jersey Shore plans, they'll be happy to know more cash won't have to come out of your pocket to hit the beach. According to a report by The Philly Post, Wildwood city officials decided Wednesday that they would not approve an admission fee program on its beaches this summer. BeachCast: A Potential Damp Start With a Nice Finish

According to Phillyweather.net, the latter half of the weekend should be better than the first.

The weekend starts on a soggy note around the region with a cool front approaching Friday afternoon. This front will take the better part of Friday night into Saturday to pass through the region and off the coast. Saturday’s weather is not shaping up as the most ideal, especially early in the day across New Jersey, but should gradually improve as we work into the afternoon thanks to a push of dry air advancing east in the wake of the front.    Rainfall could be heavy at times Friday night and early Saturday, with the potential for a couple of inches of rain in some locations. Showers and storms could be around in the early portions of the day along the coastline, perhaps lingering into the afternoon hours. It may take until late Saturday …

Flowers have their place in many a heart.

The fingertips and eyes behind Royersford’s own Three Peas in a Pod are those of head designer Heidi Swartz who busily handles graceful sweeps of petals and stems in arranging flowers. Her mother Gail Wellington manages the more business-oriented parts of daily floral adventures, while her husband Shawn takes care of deliveries, making the already existing name of the storefront all the more fitting for this trio. During Swartz’s youth, Wellington dug in the dirt with garden clubs and worked in a flower shop. This led to Swartz taking on an early taste for laboring with floral arranging, and she began in the…
