In a must game, the Philadelphia Eagles get sacked by the New Orleans Saints.
This was a must game. With the New York Giants losing Sunday, the Philadelphia Eagles had the opportunity to close the gap. By beating the New Orleans Saints Monday night, the Birds could have climbed back in the NFC East race, a game behind the G-Men in the loss column. Could have. Should have. In an up-an-down game, the Eagles showed some bright spots, but also enough mishaps to fall to the Saints 28-13. You can't really blame Quarterback Michael Vick for this one. Vick once again got little offensive line protection and the defense sagged for most of the first half before rallying to produce a turnover and some key plays. This team is not worth spending the time in front of the TV. Let's bring in Foles and use Vick in the wild cat position. I think this would really get the other teams thinking and having to deal with Foles and Vick at the same time.   more ›
