The following was sent in to Patch by Joe Greenwald: Limerick Fire Company has announced that it has commenced its annual Christmas tree sale at the fire house located at 390 W. Ridge Pike. Douglas and Fraser fir trees, from six to nine feet tall will be available. The hours of operation are 6 to 10 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. “We hope the community will come out and support the fire company by purchasing a tree from us,” stated Ken Shuler, fire chief in Limerick. “To show our appreciation, anyone interested can go to our website to print a $10 Off coupon at www.limerickfirerescue.org”.
