Local residents were awakened on Sunday with the grotesque news of a shooting of a family in Douglass Township. The incident culminated in the death of the murderer. The Limerick Board of Supervisors met for their bi-monthly meeting this week and approved the use of advertising on electric signs. They also shot down the cell phone tower request and discussed new police radios. The Limerick Generating Station released more information on its license renewal, we found out more about two recent area crashes and the June status updates for local elementary schools were released.
