"Domestic disturbance" at New Hanover Township home turns fatal

Hmm I don't comment very often on articles but for some reason I did On this one. I was completely unaware Mr. Jobson was a massage therapist; I completed my professional training several years ago in this area and its really very nice to see the wonderful comments made by his colleagues. Not that it explains anything but we all know it is sometimes very draining on the soul to avoid others' …   more ›

Police Shoot Aggressive Dog in Norristown: Your Thoughts

An officer was forced to put the animal down when it moved toward him aggressively.

A little more than a year ago, Royersford residents were shocked to hear a local woman allegedly fired shots at an "aggressive dog" in a residential area. However, the owner of that dog had a different story to tell, citing neighbors' reports to police. Firing gunshots at a dog is a touchy subject... But, then again, so is the subject of aggressive dogs. More recently, we heard about a 4-year-old boy's horrific story in Linfield last Friday. This time, a dog allegedly "lunged" at the boy, who was riding his bicylce. According to reports, the dog bit the boy, who …

SC Chief Addresses Public on Recent Shots Fired

A statement from Spring City Police Chief Art Brown

With the recent shots fired in East Vincent Township, we asked Spring City Police Chief Art Brown for some tips or warnings to send out to the community. He took the opportunity to address the public on Wednesday afternoon: "In light of that recent shooting in East Vicent," Brown said. "I want to remind the community that they are the eyes and ears of the community. So, when they see or hear something suspicious, they should call us and let us check it out. We can't be everwhere, so we depend on some help from our citizens." There have been no further developments on the case to date.

(...continued) In order for council members to know what the people are concerned about, it is important that they share their thoughts with us. Meetings are open to the public and members of the community are welcome to speak. I am also available before and after the meetings if people would prefer to talk in a less public setting. I understand we all have busy schedules and making meetings can …   more ›
