Voluntary Evacuations Begin for Area

One apartment complex has already advised residents to vacate.

Patch has been informed that the Pointe at River Glen's residents have received a letter advising them to evacuate.  The reader told Patch that "the complex sent out letters saying that evacuation is voluntary, but if we leave, we are not allowed back in for our own safety. They're shutting down the elevators today, and recommend we park our cars over at Victory Park." The Pointe at River Glen is located on 1st Avenue in Royersford, very near the riverbank.  Have you been notified that you should evacuate? Do you plan to do so? Tell us in the comments.
