King of Prussia man arrested for DUI in Upper Providence Township

The Pennsylvania State Police Skippack Barracks submitted the following report of note: On May 12 at 1:59 a.m., Corporal David M. Pezzano stopped a 1994 Toyota Corolla for erratic driving. The driver, Jigar J. Patel, 24 of King of Prussia, was allegedly exhibiting signs of alcohol impairment on 422 East in the area of the Collegeville exit in Upper Providence Township. The police report indicates Patel failed field sobriety tests and was transported to the Pennsylvania State Police Skippack Barracks for a chemical test of his breath. Charges for Driving Under the Influence of alcohol and related traffic charges will be filed in district court.

A briefing of police activity from the Pennsylvania State Police

The Pennsylvania State Police Skippack Barracks submitted the following report relating to the Spring-Ford area: On May 1 at 7:20 p.m. on 422 East in Limerick Township, a 23-year-old female of Boyertown allegedly threw trash and other debris from her vehicle. The debris reportedly struck the vehicle of a 35-year-old male of Collegeville and caused minor damage. Police reported multiple charges are pending.
