Emergency Call Leads to Burglary Arrest
A Limerick man will face charges in two municipalities.
A 9-1-1 call for a possible drug overdose led to an arrest on burglary charges for a Limerick resident on Christmas Day. Andrew Ridenour, 27, was found unresponsive and bleeding from the arm in his car outside the Needle Works Apartments by Royersford police after someone called for emergency medical help. Ridenour allegedly had baggies on his lap containing heroin. Royersford police officer Mark Smythe, who saw the baggies in plain view, also retrieved needles from the car that had blood in them. In searching the car, Smythe noticed a cash box and other items labeled Sunshine Cafe.
