Teleflex Inc., the medical device manufacturer that has been headquartered in Limerick Township since the early 1970s, is moving to Valley Forge, the Philadelphia Business Journal reports. About 160 employees will move from a mostly-vacant 200,000 s.f. complex in Limerick and another location in Reading to an 84,000 s.f. space in Valley Forge. A company official said the decision to move to a new headquarters was tied to its decision in recent years to sell off subsidiaries that were unrelated to the medical and health device markets. The Limerick complex will reportedly be put up for sale. A price has not yet been listed.
