Your signature in the book is the way voters have been identified for years. Why fix something that is not broke, unless of course you have ulterior motives. As I stated earlier, you always had to show ID when going to a new polling place.

Thanks for acknowledging that your real reason for voter ID is to prevent citizens from exercising their right to vote. I bet you are a poll tax, Jim Crow law kind of guy Jim.

@jim, you are just flat out wrong sir. Public education and supposed free ID are not free. They are paid for by the taxpayers. Likewise, all if the expenses associated with PAs voter suppression are a taxpayer burden. Voter education, mailings and yes the litigation expenses are all paid for out of taxpayer money.
Now Jim if you had done your homework you would have realized that voter impersonation problem really does not exist. -

Sorry there OR, it is not about me. I have several forms of photo ID. It is about people like my grandmothers who never had one. It's about people who live in cities who never needed a drivers license. No my friend, the burden of proof of voter impersonation relies squarely on the people who are willing to waste state money.

Earth to Jim, that was a pretty lame reply, why don't you cite some examples of voter impersonation fraud. And then determine how much the state of PA has already wasted on this boondoggle. You understand Jim, when the government wastes money all taxpayers "reach into their pockets"

@Susan, if that was the first time you voted at a location, you would have had to provide a ID. If you had voted there before and were either a D or a R, then all you would have to done is sign the book. That us my understanding for the Primary.
It is a real mess and confusion is rampant. Just plain stupid policy and costly to boot. -

@jim, when I went to the polls yesterday I was greeted by name from a poll worker who happens to be a neighbor. He asked for my id and I presented it, I understand I did not have to produce it-- yet. What would happen in 2014, if I failed to produce an ID? The poll worker knows me for years, but has to deny me my right to vote because I could not present a state specified ID.
I plan on contacting Rep Kampf's office to find out how much money the State of PA has wasted in trying to implement this voter suppression tactic. -

I would just add Optimist to your thoughtfull post, that I feel Obamas biggest mistake was the 2010 elections. He should have done more to prevent the losing of the House. It is just amazing how counterproductive this class has been. How many times have they voted on the ACA?
Then you have Boehner and McConnell talking about leadership when they have no clue where the national party ((GOP) is going. Our current Congress has to be one the worst in our nations history. -

I can't figure out why Norm Snead or Roman Gabriel were not considered. :)
All kidding aside, if Mcnab had better receivers, I think that would have put the Eagles over the top. Reid waited to long to get a top flight receiver.
