Gail, I didn't know anything about this until I saw your comment. Normally I get alerts or tips from neighbors and people in the area when things like that happen, but nothing on this. I'll definitely follow up with the police.

ReplyOn a personal note, I'm so glad to hear the young lady is OK and completely heartbroken that her new bicycle is ruined. I remember what it was like to be a 13-year-old navigating the streets of Norristown on my bike. I hope everyone takes the lesson to be more mindful of their surroundings, whether they're on a bike or in their car. Accidents will always happen, but we can try and prevent them by being more careful.

ReplyA Trader Joe's would be great. And yes, that whole section could use a retail reboot. They're getting a new super Wawa just down the road in West Norriton. Maybe some of that development will start rolling uphill.

FYI: I checked with NPD and they have no reports of a shooting in that area at that time. Gail, do you know if anyone called the police? As sad as this is to say, I know that some of these shots fired incidents have gone unreported to authorities because they're so common lately.
