Joe Evans, Neighbor

A lifelong resident of the Spring-Ford area, Joe spent his childhood years on a dairy farm and has lived in the borough of Royersford his entire adult life.  He has always worked in the dairy business or other food industries; the last twenty five years in various management positions.

 Joe has been doing photography part time professionally since 1983; including weddings, studio and outdoor portraits, and just about every kind of sports imaginable.  He rarely leaves the house without at least one of his NIKON cameras.

 He published a book about the Phillies winning the World Series in 2008 and has since been published in two other books.  He has worked for and been published in several local newspapers; his pictures have been displayed in the Reading Museum, several restaurants and coffeeshops, hundreds of homes, even on a billboard.

 He is a member of the Photographic Society of America, the Berks Photographic Society, Philadelphia Zoo Camera Club, and the Upper Merion Camera Club, where he has been Photographer of the Year for the last two years.  He is also a member of the International Association of Press Photographers.  You can see his work at his website:
