He was lucky he listened and was able to identify himself. They are looking for a suspect and possible accomplices. A police officer was shot. It is dark and other police are trigger happy at this point. Self defense is a priority at this point.

You have a very republican district. They were not given much option. vote republican for this questionable person or vote against your political beliefs.
It is almost impossible to get a republican to vote democrat especially with Obama in the white house. Just like it is tough to get a democrat to vote republican.
