Crash with Injuries Reported at Limerick Car Dealership

A vehicle launched off a snow bank and landed on the roof of a parked vehicle.

A vehicle crashed into the Piazza Honda Dealership on North Lewis Road in Limerick Thursday afternoon, striking parked cars and seriously injuring the driver.

According to a report from Caroline Sweeney of the Pottstown Mercury, a Red Mercury Mountaineer “abruptly” made a left turn off of North Lewis road and launched off a snow bank in the car dealership’s parking lot, taking the roof off of one car and striking others.

The vehicle landed on its passenger side, and Limerick and Linfield firefighters extricated the driver.

Limerick Township Police Chief William Albany said the driver’s injuries were “grievous,” and his name was not being released at the time.

The driver was taken to Pottstown Memorial Hospital, according to ABC Local.
