Injured Persons Discharged from Hospital in Royersford Fight, Investigation Ongoing

An update on Monday night's melee.

Officer Tom Godin, who originally responded to the six-person fight in Royersford that resulted in two boys going to the hospital on Monday night, provided Patch with an update on Tuesday night.

According to Godin, both boys, a juvenile who had numerous bruises and scratches and two puncture wounds, and Phillip Hashem, 19, of Philadelphia, who had a hand injury, were discharged from Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Godin said he tried to follow up with the boys, but they have not returned his calls.

Godin said the investigation is still pending and arrests will be made; however, charges have not been filed yet. An update should come later on in the day.
