Juveniles in Assault Not Spring-Ford Students

An update from Limerick Police

Chief Bill Albany told Patch in an email this afternoon that all persons involved in the that occurred at about 2:35 p.m. were not from . The assault occurred at the 7-11, which is right next to the school.

Albany did confirm the juveniles' bus stop was at the 7-11. He also said that one of the suspects is not in custody at this time, but is turning herself in to Limerick Police later tonight.

All persons involved were juveniles, Albany said - one of them was punched. Her injuries are not life threatening. There were one to three attackers against the injured girl, along with a "large group of onlookers." were first on the scene, but had to call in for reinforcements to handle the amount of people there.

Since all parties involved are juveniles, no names or information about any individual can be released. However, if charges are to be made, police will provide them to Patch.
