West Norriton Man Awaiting Sentence for Sex Offenses

A 15-year-old Limerick girl and 13-year-old Upper Providence girl were the victims.

A 22-year-old West Norriton man may be in big trouble for sexual contact with a 15-year-old Limerick girls and sending sexual text messages to an Upper Providence 13-year-old girl. Carl Hessler Jr. of the Mercury has the full story.

Matthew Keenan Lawless-Linde, of the 400 block of Truman Court, pleaded guilty in Montgomery County Court on Thursday to felony charges of statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and unlawful contact with a minor in connection with incidents that occurred between February and June 2010. Lawless-Linde was 21 at the time of the encounters he had with the girls, who were 15 and 13, according to court papers.

President Judge Richard J. Hodgson deferred sentencing Lawless-Linde so that he can be evaluated by the Pennsylvania Sexual Offender Assessment Board, which will determine if Lawless-Linde meets criteria under the state's Megan's Law to be declared a sexually violent predator.
