Rita's Annual Alex's Lemonade Fundraiser Underway

POTTSTOWN PA – Rita’s Water Ice, the Italian ice retailer whose stores can be found in Pottstown and North Coventry PA – as well as Pughtown, Boyertown, , Zieglerville, Phoenixville, Birdsboro, and Collegeville – for a seventh year is encouraging its customers to make a $1 donation to the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation with their purchases.

The fund-raising effort, which runs through June 30, benefits the national nonprofit dedicated to finding a cure for childhood cancers. The dollar gift buys a “paper lemon” on which contributors can write their names, and with which Rita’s stores will build what the company calls a visual “Wall of Hope.”
